a. Conflicts are experienced at:
- home
- work
- social recreation
- Interpersonal conflict is a fact of life, as long as you have people dealing with people, conflicts can arise from almost anywhere from organizations or workplace to personal relationships.
- Personal
- Relational
- insult
- criticism
- clash of interest, values, actions opinions and directions
- and personal characteristics
- breach of loyalty
- breach of confidence
- betrayal
- lack of respect
- poor communication
-On the surface harmony is maintained but underneath there's still conflict.
- Its similar to the situations above, except that one person is probably OK with this smoothing while the other remains in conflict creating a win/lose situation again.
-It can work where preserving a relationship is more important than dealing with the conflict right now.
-But its not useful if others feel the need to deal with the situation.
